Are you against gays in American society or are you for it???

I personally accept the homosexual community anywhere. I understand why there are those who oppose them, but it makes no sense to discriminate people who are homosexual.

I'd rather be surrounded by people who are homosexual and accept me as a person rather than being around people who are heterosexual and discriminate me for some detail of my personality that affects no one except myself.

I believe that as long as it's not hurting anyone it shouldn't be an issue. People should be able to live the way they want in a country based upon freedom. We were born this way (not quoting lady gaga) and no matter what you choose to believe there's no way to change it. People who think that it is a choice should think again. I mean honestly, who would really choose to be hated and discriminated against; to have their right of marriage and social acceptance taken away from them? Most *** people try for years to be "normal" so that they can be socially accepted. I would rather be hated and happy, then accepted and miserable.
But that's just my opinion.

I do not mind gays, I feel that our whole American society blows that situation way out of proportion. They make it seem like its the vietnam war again that its like anti American if your ***. They are in America and they are equal to everyone else.

Homosexuality is a choice in my opinion. Thus if you practice it, you should be prepared to deal with what views society has against you. But I feel their is no wrong in it.

There's no proven scientifical evidence that shows you are born with a love of the opposite sex or the same sex. It's a personal choice. I don't like the way men look but I like the way women look.

There is no proof that it is a choice. Only *** people can tell you that. If it's a choice then why do people try for years to be a happy and end up wasting their lives trying to be attracted to the same sex. It's just another argument that can not be and never will be won. Honestly, there are people out there who make the choice to be ***, and it's a load of bs. You either are, or you're not. A lot of people give gays a bad name because they do it for attention, which is utterly stupid.

I personally accept the homosexual community. I have had a few *** friends in the past and they were all great people. Of course the thought of two men being together may be a daunting thought to go through a straight mans head but as long as im not being made to feel uncomfortable, through things like advances haha, I fully support them and their happiness. Who are we to judge what is right and whats wrong anyhow? :)

In theory, I am neither for nor against; I am neutral. Sexual tendencies shouldn't make a difference in the way I deal with people or think about them (unless they are a love interest, of course). I try to base all my opinions and judgments on intuition, personal merit, and personality. I am not "for" heterosexual people, so why should I be for homosexuals either? If you want equality, this is the way to get it.

Not everyone is like that. The only reason you think of them that way is because they're the only ones who flaunt it. Not gonna lie, a lot of *** people find it very annoying when people wear rainbows and pride everyday. It's aggravating, and it hurts your eyes.
