Pokemon Gb help!!!
1. Are all pokemon set to lvl 50 or 100, or do you play with what level they are at? 2. How to you join the person that you are matched up with? 3. If you do play at the level your pokemon are currently at, is there a special way to level them all to 100 quickly? 4. Aside from Ubers, are other legendaries aloud? Any more helpful information would be great! I get the whole EV process, but I don't know much about the different play styles or what would be a good team for a newbie like me. My current team: Ferrothorn (EV'd for sp def and def) Dragonite (EV'd for att and speed) Slowking (EV'd for sp att and speed) Blissey (EV'd for sp att and hp) Crobat (EV'd for att and speed) Claydol (EV'd for sp def and def) Thanks guys! |

I can see you're incredibly new to this (you haven't provided hold items, move sets, and exact EV numbers). Now I dunno about GB rules, however the general standard rules I know (from smogon.com) means uber pokémon are not allowed in standard play, so as long as your pokémon isn't an uber, it's fair game to use it (legendary or otherwise), funnily enough, as the generations continue, more and more non-legendary pokémon are becoming uber.
As for joining people you have a game with, If you're playing on your DS game rather than an online battle simulator, you would have to add them to your friends list item within the game (I know it's called the pal pad or something in gen. 4), then go into the wifi room in the pokémon centre. If you're playing generation 4 games, your pokémon can be set to level 50 or 100, I'd ask your opponent before your match, if you're playing gen. 5 however, your pokémon have to be the level you have them at, as the **** wits at Game Freak didn't give people an option to make your pokémon a fixed level without having stupid rules like "only 3 pokémon" and "No 2 pokémon may have the same items". |
