I cut down to the Varsity 113 pounder this year, but it was really 115 cuz we had a 2 pound weight allowance.

Agreed, haha wrestling is a martial art, and a very good one at that. Watch MMA fights, and they all use some form of wrestling in one way or another. Joe Rogan, commentator for the UFC said himself that wrestling is the most important base to have in MMA. And if it wasn't for wrestling I definitely would've gotten my butt whooped on several occasions.

I never wrestled in high school, played football, but I would train with some brosksis on the wrestling team. I grappled even back in high school, so it was interesting to go against them on the mat, picked up some good stuff from the guys who did greco.

i wrestled as a kid for maybe 6yrs - was pretty good too but when i moved to a diff city i stopped and started playing hockey instead - probly one of my biggest regrets was quiting wrestling..ohh well though. lol
