Welcome to this week's GameBattles Sports update! It's been a while since our last update, and it's time to get everyone up to speed. Things are starting to look a little different across all three of our covered titles; NHL 10, Madden 10, and FIFA 10. If you haven't registered, do so before it's too late! There's still plenty of time to get involved in the playoff race. Now, on to the action.

Once again, the Madden NFL 10 Ladder has a new #1! Robe983 was able to surpass DREAMKILLER to claim first place, thanks in part to a 12-game win streak. With an overall record of 128-20, Robe has proven he is worthy of holding that position, and it doesn't look like anybody is going to stop him anytime soon; DREAMKILLER hasn't played a game since a loss to Top Page Kids, and 52-1 BoSs has been inactive for weeks. That said, it won't be long before up-and-coming players like SeRiouS (#19, 36-5) or COHEED AND CAMBRIA (#21, 37-5) take over the top ranks. Keep competing!

Let's move on to the FIFA 10 Arena, where another #1 has fallen. The now-former #1 ranked FinnY has dropped to #3, despite maintaining a respectable 61-8 record. Julianooo has moved into first place with a superior record of 106 wins and just 4 losses, and has won 21 straight matches. He leads #2 ranked MaNiiKa (54-8) by nearly 1,000 XP. Meanwhile, TaLenTz, 68-11, has taken sole possession of fourth place, while Abcdefghijk has moved into fifth with a 56-3 record. Former #5 ranked Proud Preston has fallen to 12th place after a recent defeat, but has lost just 7 times in 67 matches. It's a very competitive ladder.

Now, let's get back to the ice! Hannah Montana, now with 148 wins and 25 losses, still holds first place, but by a very slim margin. I'm Back trails Hannah Montana by just 7 XP, and has not lost in 58 matches. The race for #1 is insanely close! Iginla Dangles has moved into third place, posting a record of 63 wins and 10 losses thus far. DREAMTEAM (67-14) has continued to have a solid season, and is currently enjoying the #4 rank. DREAMTEAMv2 sits just behind him in fifth place with a 33-3 record. Talk about competition: four of the top five teams have a win streak of 10-or-more games; Hannah Montana: 13 games; I'm Back: 58 games; DREAMTEAM: 17 games; and DREAMTEAMv2: 24 games.
