Alright, so it’s been about a year since my last blog. I just got done reading my first blog for the first time in months and it inspired me to write a new blog. So where should I begin? I guess I will continue where I left off. Back in November 2008, I was on The Core Four. Now that I look back at my Halo history, during this time I was still a noob. I had little to no understanding of how to actually play Halo 3. I could shoot and aim, but controlling spawns and timing weapons for me was still a huge issue. Not to mention I had little to no idea of what teamwork actually was.
Anyway, The Core Four consisted of myself (Ulrich), Gunjin, TranquilPyro and Constant. This team was bound to fail. We practice all the time and got on most every night to practice. When we were winning things were great, but when we were losing times were hard. Like I said, during this time I still had a lot to learn about Halo 3 and my temper also was an issue in game.
That’s one thing that I would recommend to everyone. Never let your emotions get the best of you in game. Blaming your teammates for problems or whining about the host just causes major issues. It hurts the team chemistry, and is really detrimental to the overall focus of the team. Instead of focusing on working together and hitting your shots, your entire team is worked up because of the constant complaining.
