Listen up Call of Duty 4 fans - GameBattles is excited to introduce the first ever Call of Duty 4 Free-For-All Online Tournament! This Sunday, May 3rd, 128 of GameBattles’ finest will wage modern-warfare for a piece of the prize pool that is up for grabs - which could total nearly $1,000 in cash and prizes (depending on the number of tournament registrants. Registration is already underway, and will remain open until Saturday, May 2nd at 9:00 p.m. EST. The entry fee is 30 MLG Credits per user.

GameBattles staff will be on hand to closely monitor the competition. A member of GameBattles' staff will be present during each and every match that is played throughout the entire tournament. GameBattles will also be keeping a close eye on the level of participation in the Call of Duty 4 Free-For-All Online Tournament. If the level of interest is high enough, GameBattles will see to it that more Online Tournaments of this type make their way onto the site.

The competitors will be split into groups of eight players each. From there, they’ll play two rounds on two of the following four maps: Overgrown, Bog, Backlot or Ambush. At the end of two maps, the scores from both maps will be combined in order to determine who will advance. Two players from the first round of the tournament will advance. In each subsequent round, four players will advance. The tournament will eventually end up with eight final players, which will slug it out in a battle-royale of digital carnage for the top prize.
