MoB Deep (1st) still sits atop the Modern Warfare 2 Team Ladder, despite several teams playing heavily in an effort to seize the top spot. MoB Deep has been inactive on the ladder since early February, giving other top teams the perfect opportunity to topple them. Among these teams is INF Organized Confusion (3rd). Being by far and away the winningest team with nearly 300 victories, INF OC has played a whopping 44 matches in the last seven days alone. Although they've achieved considerably more wins than losses in that time, because of their high seed victories generally award them small amounts of XP while losses deduct far larger amounts. Even though they had at one point overtaken the (as of late) dormant 1 Effect, INF OC's loss yesterday to Super Squad v2 erased the XP gains the team had made from their last eight match wins. If INF OC can get on a hot streak and the Top 2 teams continue their trend of inactivity, the team has a serious chance for contention of 1st place.

Soldiers Only Live Once (7th) has also been highly active in the last week, having put in 17 matches since the 10th. With the team on a massive winning streak, don't be surprised to see SOLO rise to the 4th spot in the coming days. The story is much the same with Team Rage (8th) who have played and won 16 matches during the same period. Rage is just behind SOLO in XP, and which of these teams break the Top 5, if any, will likely be determined by the sheer volume of matches played in the coming days and weeks.

Outside of the Top 10, LSRD Pivotal Moments continues to make a big push to edge up the ranks, but still remains over 300 XP behind the 10th seeded E2K Violent Apprehension.

Teams to Keep an Eye On
Super Team v2, the squad that was able to take down INF Organized Confusion, began ladder play as a team on just the 13th of February. Despite the small time frame, they've managed to accumulate a record of 28-3 and currently are sitting atop a ten game winning streak. If they keep up this pace, you can expect to see them ranked much higher in the near future. Sick By Definition, a team seeded just outside the Top 100, has been able to maintain an astounding 63 game winning streak. This trend suggests that the team is en route to the low double digits, but whether they can continue their flawless run if they come across top teams is yet to be seen. Similarly, the 112th seeded Adversity had sustaining an almost as impressive 49 match streak, but unfortunately their run was ended earlier today by Ligit Gamers[s].

Hot Top Teams
To say that Soldiers Only Live Once's (7th) record since mid-January is stunning is at best an understatement. With an overall record of 137-7, the team is still fostering a 78 game winning streak. Despite coming across Top 100 teams numerous times, the squad has refused to be toppled by a lower seed....What is only more impressive than Unforgiven's spotless 53 game streak is that they've been able to ascend to 38th place in just 53 games. Having began competition as late as February 6th, the progress the team has made in this small window is unparalleled across the ladder.
