Mid-Season Ladder Tournaments

For the first time, Gamebattles will be hosting mid-season tournaments for top ladder teams for select Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare ladders. These tournaments will be held the last two weeks of February. Below are the requirements to qualify.

• Team must be play ten (10) matches between February 1st 12:00am ET and February 15th 11:59pm ET
• Team must be premium.
  • For every premium member, there can be one non-premium member.
• Team must have at least four (4) players on their roster for the Team Ladder Roster.
  • For Doubles, each team must have two (2) players on their Ladder Roster.
  • Eligible players MUST have joined the roster before February 15th.
• Team must be ranked in the top 32 teams for that ladder.
  • If teams ranked in the top 32 are not eligible, the search will extend past the top 32 teams to fill the bracket.

Winter 2015 Ladder Playoff Information

• All playoff brackets will be completed in one (1) day.
• No matches will be able to be rescheduled except for finals. Since there is nearly a 3 month notice on the dates and times, please make sure your team will be ready to compete at the dates/times listed below.
   
• For all Call of Duty titles:
  • MLG Variant Rule set will be used.
  • All matches will be best of 3. Semi-finals and Finals being best of 5.
     
• All Sports Games
  • All matches will be best of 1 matches with Finals being best of 3.
     
• Online Tournament staff will handle the support for all playoffs. Please use Live Support for any in-game match issues.
• Please note that you are not required to have a premium membership to access OLT Live Support.

Important Dates:

• Winter Season Roster Lock Begins: March 24^th, at 12:00 AM EDT
• Winter Season Roster Lock Ends: March 31^st at 8:59 PM EDT
• Winter Season Ends: March 31^st at 8:59 PM EDT
• Winter Season Playoffs Begin: Monday, April 6^th

Qualification for Playoffs:

• Team must be created before March 24^th, 12:00am EDT
• Team must play at least three (3) matches after March 24^th, 12:00am EDT and before March 31^st at 8:59 PM EDT
• Team cannot "Override" the roster lock. Roster locks are overridden by clicking the "Override Roster Lock" button on your team page.
  • During the roster lock period, roster changes including invites, gamertag, and role changes are prohibited.
  • The players that are on the team during the roster lock period will be the only Usernames and Gamertags put onto the playoff roster.
• Team roster must meet the minimum player requirements listed on the schedule.
• Bracket seeding will be given based on the ladder rankings at the end of the Fall Season.
  • Teams that are ranked high enough, but do not meet the other qualification requirements will not be seeded into playoffs. The next higher ranked team will receive that seed.
• Teams that are disbanded after the roster lock is over and before the matches are played will not be eligible for playoffs. Your team will not be reinstated.
• Playoffs where only 3 or few eligible teams can be found from that specific ladder will result in the cancellation of that playoff bracket.

After the Winter Season Ends:

• Staff will be given three (3) days to clear out the remaining tickets for Winter 2015 matches.
• All brackets will be seeded on or before Saturday, April 4th.
• Deadline to contest your team's eligibility will be two days before that ladder's playoff date and/or April 11th.
• The gamertags listed on the Playoff roster are the only gamertags allowed in playoff matches.
  • Gamertag changes WILL NOT be permitted during or after roster lock for any playoff roster. We highly suggest that you wait until your playoff matches are completed if you plan to change your gamertag.

Prizes:

• All players on the 1st place team playoff roster will receive an achievement.
• All players on the 2nd place team playoff roster will receive an achievement.
• There is a total of $10,600 USD alloted to several ladders for the end of the season playoffs.
• Playoff achievements will be awarded once all playoff brackets have been completed.

• The dates on this schedule are tentative up until the end of Winter Season
• Games/ladders may be added or removed and bracket sizes may change based on the activity.
